  1. "Match Day" is when medical students all throught out the country learn slowly where the will spend the nexy years as a resident.I would be both nervous and excited about this day.I would be excited because I would be very anxious to see if I have been matched at resident with my specialty and I would be hoping for one of the top hospitals.I would also be nervous because I would be thinking what if i dont get matched at great hospital, with my position, this would determine my status for the next years. Also I would be nervous because all of this, results in my whole future and how the scucces of my life turns out.

I agree with Alex. "Match Day" is the day when medical students across the country figures out what hospital they will spend their next few years as a resident. I would be both excited and nervous. I would be excited because I would finally be a resident at a hospital to practice my specialty after all those long hours of studying. This moment will also be thrilling because I'll be one more step away from living my dream as a doctor. I would be nervous because there would be a high chance that I wouldn't be match up with my top choice. My future is on the line with the hospital I am match up with and how my career turns out.

  4. I would probably be nervous as well. I would really hope that I'd get into the college that I had hoped for. It'd be a big dissapointment if it turned out that I hadn't.

The experience of Match Day is becoming a resident of a hospital where they are studying in and students usually apply for the residency through National Resident Matching Program which use computer to match students with hospitals that they want to learn from. I would think it would be both because when you are new there you might not like the place or the facilities the hospital provided and also when you get excited usually you like the place and have a good time getting along with new people and patients.

I agree with Alex as he was saying being successful and find hospitals that has the best facilities and good reputation because when you are in a good hospital people would usually admired your hard work and usually you will get a good reputation and good relationship with patients everyday.

  7. @ Alex W...
Match day is a day in which it is normal to feel both excitement and nervousness. However, I would be more nervous than excited. It's almost like your life is in the clutches of a piece of paper inside an envelope. The excitement would probably set in for me if my envelope contains the results i would like.

A Match Day is a day that medical student want to apply for hospital and learn about. they will spend a next few years to be a resident. if this happen to me. i will be nervous and excited at the same time. Because it would be excited if i got accept or get into and being a part resident and a chance to be with people in hospital (nurses;doctor) but if i didn't i would be upset.

I would agree with Rosiland because i would understand how would she feel about getting accept or not. because their other people applying and wanted to get in too; like 100 could get in and there over 1000 people apply so it would be hard.

  9. "Match Day" is a day in which medical school graduates learn their match for which hospital they'll be sent to as residents.
I can understand how frustrating it is for Sam to not get the position in a hospital he wanted. It's depressing knowing you're good at something but can't find an opportunity to do the thing you love. So when Sam found out that he was to be a residence in the University of Maryland to be a Internal Medicine resident, but not Emergency Medicine, he was devastated. It upset him so much that he wanted to end there.
It suck to have your life depended on a computer program. I would be anxious about my result and quite upset if it did not meet my expectation, but I know that I'll succeed and that there's got to be alternative for me because I deserve it and also because I'm be persistent toward my goals.

Match day is when medical students around the country apply to the Resident Mathcing Program. This program enables students to see actually wat residents and hospitals they will be placed at. I personally would be both because I would'nt know what to expect. I would be nervous by the cause of me asking myself did I match up with the specialties i favor? Then on the other hand i would be very excited to see what field of medicine i would highly be compatible with and where i would spend the next years as a resident.

  12. Match day is basically when the graduates learn which hospital is best for them and which one they should work at. All the boys got their match, except for Sam, unfortunately. Personally, I would be excited to find which hospital is right for me. I would have worked so hard and finally get to start my career I've been dreaming of.
